Who is Halotherapy (salt therapy) for?

Halotherapy is generally safe for adults and children who may be dealing with respiratory ailments, such as asthma, allergies, and skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema. Monarch Salt Room encourages all clients to consult their healthcare provider prior to booking a session. Salt therapy is not recommended for individuals with severe hypertension, cancer, heart problems, 3rd stage COPD (spitting blood), infectious disease, fever, or active tuberculosis.

What shall be worn during the salt therapy session?

Monarch Salt Room recommends that you were something comfortable, please understand that salt particles will appear on your clothing, hair, body. If you were contact lenses, please remove or ask one of our team members for a mask prior to your session.

What is expected during the salt therapy session?

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your session, as all sessions start at the top of the hour every hour. We ask that you silence your technology and refrain from loud conversations during your session out of consideration for you and other clients to enjoy the experience. You may experience a tickle in your throat and possible coughing as the salt is working its magic to help clear and detoxify you.
